The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako (RDBN) is committed to ensuring citizens are kept informed of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. The RDBN is actively monitoring the status of the pandemic and taking appropriate precautions. We are taking direction from the Province of British Columbia, Northern Health and the BC Centre for Disease Control in order to do our part to help minimize the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The public is urged to follow the recommendations from both the Federal and Provincial Health Authorities. It is the RDBN’s expectation that all of the citizens of this diverse region will follow the Public Health Orders and Ministerial Orders issued by the Province.

News Release April 3, 2020 RDBN Landfills, Transfer Stations, Recycling Depot Operations – COVID-19
On March 18, 2020, the RDBN formally activated our Emergency Operations Centre at Level 1.
The Bulkley Valley Pool was closed effective 3:00 p.m., March 16, 2020, until further notice.
As of March 17, 2020, the Re-Use Sheds at all Regional District Transfer Stations and Landfills are closed to the public until further notice.
The RDBN will continue to provide Building Inspection services for unoccupied buildings. The Building inspection process for occupied buildings should be discussed with a Building Inspector.
